TPU – Flexible, Durable, and Shock Absorbent

TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is a flexible, rubber-like 3D printing filament known for its excellent elasticity, durability, and impact resistance. It’s ideal for creating parts that need to bend, stretch, or absorb shock — such as phone cases, gaskets, wearables, or vibration-dampening components. TPU offers strong layer adhesion and abrasion resistance, making it suitable for functional applications.

Unlike rigid filaments like PLA or ABS, TPU can stretch significantly without breaking, and it returns to its original shape. It does require slower print speeds and careful handling during printing, but its unique properties open up a wide range of creative and practical possibilities.
