For orders shipped within the UK, delivery typically takes 2-4 working days. We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of purchase (Monday to Friday). You'll receive tracking details as soon as your order has been shipped.

PLA is the best for beginners because it’s easy to print, doesn’t require a heated bed, and has minimal warping.

- Please Consult the particular brand of Filament provider for the best settings. The information should be stated on the packaging. - For our own SpoolSpider branded filament, please use the following settings. - PLA: Nozzle 190–220°C, bed 0–60°C (optional). - ABS: Nozzle 220–250°C, bed 80–110°C (heated bed required). - PETG: Nozzle 220–250°C, bed 70–80°C.

Common causes include improper bed leveling, incorrect bed temperature, dirty build surface, or insufficient adhesion (use glue stick, hairspray, or a PEI sheet).

Store in an airtight container with desiccant packs or use a filament dryer. Nylon, PETG, and TPU are especially hygroscopic..

Yes, for PLA, a heated bed isn’t mandatory (but helps). ABS and PETG typically require one to prevent warping and improve adhesion.

Usually due to high nozzle temperature or insufficient retraction settings. Lower the temperature and enable retraction in your slicer.

Most consumer printers use 1.75mm (more precise, common). 2.85mm is used in some industrial printers (like Ultimaker). Always check your printer’s compatibility.

ABS emits styrene fumes, which can be harmful. Print in a well-ventilated area or use an enclosure with filtration. PLA is safer for indoor use.

Yes, but it’s not straightforward. Some companies offer filament recycling services, or you can use a filament extruder to recycle scraps into new filament (requires processing).

The most common filaments are PLA (easy to print, biodegradable), ABS (durable, heat-resistant), PETG (strong, flexible), TPU (flexible), and nylon (tough, abrasion-resistant). Specialty filaments like wood-filled or carbon fiber also exist.
